One more MiLB post...

As a follow up to my last post, here is a current list of my MiLB venue visits.

Short Season Single A
Hudson Valley Renegades
SI Yankees
Vermont Lake Monsters
Boston Cyclones
Tri City Valley Cats
(Aberdeen and Lowell are the two others on my wishlist for this division)

AA Eastern League
Trenton Thunder
Binghamton Mets
New Britain Rock Cats
Manchester Fisher Cats
Portland Sea Dogs
(Altoona, Bowie, and maybe Reading, are the others on my wishlist)

AAA International League
Scranton-Wilkes Barre Yankees/Railriders
Syracuse Chiefs
Pawtucket Red Sox
Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs
Louisville Bats
(Durham, Toledo, Columbus and Rochester are all on the wishlist)

AAA Pacific League
Oklahoma City Redhawks (rain out)
Omaha Storm Chasers
Iowa Cubs
(hmm, haven't really come up with a wishlist for the rest of this group...)

Single A Carolina League
Wilmington Blue Rocks

Short Season Single A Midwest League
Quad City River Bandits

Independent Leagues
Bridgeport Bluefish
Wichita Wingnuts

My last big trip came together largely by looking at a map, and seeing a large section of the country I hadn't spent much time visiting. My next MiLB trip will likely be something similarly planned, while getting to ballparks on my always growing wishlist. I'm thinking of a trip starting in Charleston SC (to see the RiverDogs!) and ending maybe in Little Rock. Or, if I could set something up that takes me from Wyoming through the Dakotas, that would be appealing. And, along with the RiverDogs, seeing another of the Yankees minor league teams, the Tampa Yankees, is on the to-do list.

We shall see...it's always nice to sketch these trips in my mind.

But, football season comes first. The next post starting "And here I am at..." will surely be from a new football venue.

Giants play tonight. Go Blue!

  1. I think this post was up for maybe a day before the announcement was made that the Yankees would have an affiliate in the Appalachian League, the Pulaski Yankees (Virginia)... Add it to the wishlist.
